And cake again. This time, however, not a birthday, but a name day for my mother. Making a decision “what to do?” It took me some time because I’m not good at making cakes. Usually I reach for a cookbook and is out of trouble. This time it was different – I looked through my substantial culinary literature, I searched the web, dug out old notes and nothing. I wanted something, but I could not tell what. Then I got a card with a recipe for Tort capuuciono (Question of Taste) – I’ve done it twice and it’s perfect, but I wanted something else. And that’s how I imagined the carrot bottom (according to my mother’s recipe) along with the mascarpone cream. Pride! I was very surprised myself how wonderfully these two flavors complement each other. Moist, not too sweet, carrot cake and a delicious, smooth cream 🙂 I recommend with all my heart!
